question for all with m50 swap

i had my m50 harness wires soldered in my 86 325es. well the car got wrecked now it's time to hook the engine harness to a 89 325i harness. problem is i only have a pin chart but no more pin connectors. are the wires the same from a 1986e and a 1989i ? if not which engine wires go to which car wires by color? the engine is a 94 2.5. any help is greatly appreciated.

The harness from a 86 325e is very different then one from a 89 325i.

you will need to seperate it, and remake to connections on a 325i harness.

Buy a Bentley manual. It has all the diagrams you will need.
