I'll try searching for more info about this oneOriginally posted by arsevaderYup seen this 100's of times. Do you have the OBC with the 'code' function?
This can disable your car if there is a problem with the OBC or the relays.

Hey,Originally posted by bddogI have a spare ECU from my 84'e that I keep as a "testor". It works fine, I upgraded to a 027 that I chipped.
You could use it for a quick test of your ECU. I live in Torrance. --Steve
Thanks for the offer but since this car is on its 3rd ECU... I want to rule that out as a problem. I left the battery unplugged overnight, so i'll check it today and see if that helped any (for the OBD code thing)Michael Spiegle

i'm not even worried about the fuel pump stuff (unless they would cause the ECU to not spark). First and foremost - I get no spark. I have jumpered the main relay and worked through the page on the bentley to ensure proper power and grounding to the ECU.
Is there a way to check and see if the ECU itself is sending the spark signals to the coil without having a scope?Michael Spiegle
