    Gas line leak. Help!

Well I am in the middle of putting my subframe back up after changing the bushings and now the gas line between the two tanks is leaking. Anybody else every have this problem? What do you recommend I do to fix this since I would have to siphon all the gas out to take the line completely off.

What to do depends on where the leak is. The picture suggests that the leak is where the fitting attaches to the tank. In which case the fix is to replace the tank. An external fix is very unlikely to work as the tank is probably rusted out from the inside. If the leak is from the line, that line could be replaced.

Emptying the tank won't be difficult. There is a drain plug on the right side of the tank. Or you could disconnect the line between the tank halves.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yeah. the leak is at the tank. Can that fitting be replaced? Or does the tank itself have to be replaced?

not true. with an older tank it's going to be very hard to get off. you'll most likely end up destroying the linker tube but it's a separate piece.

So, what should I do? I was planning on picking up a new tank this weekend.
