    Is this normal?

My driveway is sloped downward towards the house and I normally park with the front of the car facing down. When it rains, i get a rather annoying leak in my trunk. I traced it to next to the gasket near the antenna (and other side). Because I'm parked at an angle, the water pools up and somehow goes between the gasket and trunk lid It seems like that shouldn't happen, but then again I do park on a hill. I checked the gasket and it looks fine. Ideas?

yes, i get a lot of crap in there.

Antenna base, small holes welded closed from the factory just out of view in that pic (between gasket and window) opening up, and even the gasket itself may be loose/cracking in a certain area.

      i appreciate the reply.

no gaskets are loose or cracking. the water is just going above the trunk lid gasket.

I had the same problem...not parked on an incline though. Whenever it rained I got a little puddle in the trunk and all the seals looked great. I removed the trunk seal, applied a bead of sealant underneath and reinstalled it and no more leaks!

Give it a shot, can't hurt. The tube of sealant was like 2-3 bucks.
