    Blower motor mounting.

Just refreshed the blower motor and now I want to put it back in but the piece of spring steel/metal that clamps around the motor wont come close to reaching the bottom lip to hold it in place? Am I just putting it in wrong or is it bad? any alternative way to get the blower motor to mount in there? Thanks.

I'm looking for the same answer. I've heard that it's a PITA and am considering having a mechanic do it for me.

Keep pressing on it until it locks down in there. I remember it taking a bit of force but it wasn't too bad.

@bstarr3 - blower motor removal and reinstall is very easy, only takes like 30 minutes.

ok, listen up. i just got done mine a month ago. take the motor back out, then look up in where the top of the clip hooks on. hook the top on, hold the bottom up in the air and slip the motor in under it. get the motor seated then bring down the clip and snap it in. took me a while at first but once you understand the setup, she snaps right in. you are probably trying to snap the clip into a place that it dosen't go. google a pic of the motor and take notice where the clip goes.
