I'm just curious.. is it easier to break my engine from the transmission to pull it? Or is it easier to disconnect the driveshaft and pull both as one piece?

I think it is easier to pull or install the engine & transmission as a unit. You do need an engine leveler for the hoist.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

^Agreed. I didn't use a load leveler when I took my engine out but it would have made things MUCH easier. I went and bought a load leveler for putting the engine back in.Comment

I used a load leveler to pull my engine...it probably would have been a bit easier if I didn't use it though. I'm missing 2 cylinders though so I have more room to boogyComment
