    whats involved in removing the cluster

    i want to make some guage faces for my 325i... but how do you get the factory ones out..

    it's easier to get the cluster out with the steering wheel removed but can be done with it in place. It's pretty self explanitory. take off the knee bolster under the wheel then start taking apart the rest of the dash below the cluster. Maybe someone will have a more in depth explanation on how to do it. I just started to take things apart and then slid it in between my steering wheel and the dash. really it's not hard at all

      i guess i will just wait till its warmer and then do it... too bad its 2 degrees out there now...

        ..trust me, you're better off doing this in a heated garage or in warm weather. NJ is cold as hell too :evil:
