1990 325ic -- water drain locations?

i have a chronic problem with the rear passenger side footwell being soaked during the rainy season. its already destroyed the carpet.

it doesn't seem to be a roof seal leak, but i understand that there are 2 drains per side in the rocker panel. the car has been repainted and i suspect these were blocked.

can anyone provide a photo or diagram showing where these drains are located?

Same thing here. I need to get this fixed before I find more carpet. I thought there was a thread somewhere on this, but I don't have a clue where it is.

have someone water down the top with a hose while your inside checking where the water is coming from. always work for me.

check your boot lid...could be coming from inside there and into the cabin from behind the seats maybe?

i know my boot lid leaks and I have water in there after a drive in the rain

Sounds like the elephant drain. It's on the passenger side of the engine bay. Just google image it. "elephant drain e30"
