A real low charge is the only thing required for lights. Id put a meter on it.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

when you go to crank, what sounds do you hear?
      a single click?
      several quick clicks?
does it crank normally, but not kick over?

ok so its just a single click when i crank the key and the only electronic things that are working are the lower cluster lights (ebrake, check engine...etc) the overhead check panel and the trunk and door lights.

Go for the battery first. My car had the same issues.

I was parked in front of a store, the ignition went on, but when I turn it over to start, everything went blank. Then, it was dead. Checked out the battery terminal, and true enough, the negative was kinda loose because the PO had put a kill switch / quick release on the terminal, which I find kinda stup** to put. Fixed it, and one click. Vrroomm....off I went.

If this doesn't work, I'd look at grounding, then fuses, then ignition. Hope this helps.
