Any one have an M20 Thermostat laying around?

I've got 2 brand new Thermostats sitting on my desk one is from a M30 and one is from a M20. Problem is I can't remeber which is which. On the M20 Thermostat does the O-ring sit on the Spring side or non spring side of the Thermostat?

I have one at home, I believe it sits on the non spring side.

if you can check that would be appreciated. If it does sit on the non-spring side I guesed right one which one was which of the 2.

I'm fairly certain it sits on the non spring side, the t-stat cover won't seal if its on the spring side. Spring side goes towards the engine.
I'll look when i go home, if no one chimes in.

The O-ring is on the non spring side for sure. I just checked.

Thanks, maybe I'll finally have some heat. Mine is stuck open so once warmed up it is barely above the blue mark on the gauge, it was just fine for summer, but no during winter it's to dang cold.
