What is this plug on the driver side, on the firewall?

It's actually 2 plugs. Please look at the picture and tell me what this is. This goes into the firewall next to the fuse box.

    Thanks.

I took the whole harness apart and found out lots of things. I quickly looked at it so I might be wrong at where they go but hopefully you get the idea. The plug on the left: I think the green wire go to Ignition Coil, the Blue and small black wire go no-where, the brown of course ground, the Yellow wire joins with the smaller wire that comes from pin #1 off the ECU and it also turns up at the harness relay. I'm still not sure exactly where the Green wire go into. Any help is great. I can't seem to find a 25 pin ECU diagram from an e30 euro 323i.

The round plug on the right goes to the e30 m20 distributor cap.

I'm not sure if I really need all this plugged up since i'm doing my M30 swap. I could hook them up but i'm not sure if it will complicate the M30 ECU since i'm using the M30 e28 harness. Any help?

You should really mention what year/model your car is.

I have never seen a M20 E30 with this installed.

            MR 325, good point.

It's originally a 1985 Euro 323i but the previous owner swapped it out with a 2.7 and I think he installed the 323i intake manifold because it doesn't look like a 2.7 intake manifold. I wouldn't be surprise if it has the 2.3 head along with its' intake manifold.

I'm in the process of doing an M30 swap but of course there's already a thread on that in the appropriate section of this forum.
