    lube a starter?

So, I'm finally getting around to replacing my starter (with a recently reman). A daunting task, I have no idea how it is done without air tools. good thing I have air. Took 45 min just to get it out.

Question: should the shaft be lubed

seriously though, I figured a lock ease/graphite lube would be best. any suggestions?

I have a new engine/trans coming sometime, if soon, I'm just going to wait to install it till then, if not I'm going to drive it till it blows up. either way, not until this weekend.
