skip it. Talk to mark dsylva, his chip is the best one on the market IMHO, and he'll actually talk to you. http://dsylva-tech.ca/

Dyno proven gains, great throttle response, and excellent midrange and partial throttle gains, which completely change the m42 from a weak street motor to something that is actually fun to drive.

    More info: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...ht=markd+318is

Also, Dinan no longer lists any products available for the e30 318. Last I heard, their chips were rebadged Conforti or something like that.

Dinan chips are notoriously weak at partial throttle...and they have by far the most generous dyno I have ever seen.

I dont see any beef, unless comparing products from various makers is having 'beef'...

i would have to say comparing the dinan chip to stock chip, there is no power gains. there is a rev gain and that is all i felt. i will be purchasing the mark D chip because of how unsatisfied i was with the dinan chip.

perhaps we could arrange a group buy?

there's been two or three group buys tried for the mark D chips, most of the time, people refuse to put their money where their mouth is and dont pay up. His chips are already cheaper than any of the other big names, and I'd call that a bargain.

So what exactly are the power gains? From low, mid, and to high?
