    Two tech questions

Here is a picture of one of my injector that I recently replace but is clip supposed to go over the lip on the fuel rail?

The second is my motor mount heat sheild thing is in the way, can I just jack my motor up and pull this thing off or cut it off.

    Thanks

Your injector clip looks correct, clips onto the injector and the rail goes into the little slot on the side of the clip.

What is your heat shield in the way of? You shouldn't ever need to get rid of that, the heat will kill your motor mount.

the heat shield is in the way of getting a socket on the bolt, I wasnt sure if the heat shield is supposed to be in the front of the motor mound facing backward, then I could access the nut with a socket.

And the fuel rail is securely in place and well as all of the injector, I almost dont see a point in the clips, Yes I know the last thing I want is an engine fire especially over fuel injector clips.

The shield is held on by 2 10mm bolts with nuts. You can remove it that way. It is correctly installed like that, it has to protect the mount.

The fuel rail needs clips because there's close to 45psi of fuel pressure in there while the car is running.
