    How to do a heater bypass

    Was wondering if anyone has a wright up on hoe to do a heater bypass, i have a 90 e30, drivers side carpet is always wet now, i checked all the hoses, they all seem tight and not brittle, any sugestions?

    Disconnect the hoses from the heater inlets and plug each hose. Do not look the hoses as that can cause excessive heat temperatures in summer conditions.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      I always looped them

      I know your going to tell me the bypassed water never goes through the radiator and your dumping this hot water on the cool side....but I've never had any detrimental effects. Not done with my e30 but with my charger.

          You probably have a leaky heater core. I have one for sale I'd you want

            dont i have to take the dashboard out to replace the heater core

              common...search this forum. There are very detailed instructions for how to do this.

                You absolutely do NOT have to pull the dash to do a heater core.
