I just happen to have a E46 and a '91 E30, the answer is no. The center-center distance is ~40.5" on the E46 vs ~38.5" on the E30. Plus the shock bearing bolt hole pattern is different - 3.75" x 3.75" x 3.75" for the E46 vs 4" x 4" x 3.5" for the E30.
