    coolant check panel light?

I have a small coolant leak as well as a small oil leak, but i dont think those would trip the coolant sensor light on my check panel. The light is never on unless im driving on the highway (roughly 60-70 mph) and the coolant light will randomly come on. I have checked coolant levels many times, added it when needed etc. I dont understand why the check light comes on when there seemingly isnt a problem? Is it just a bad sensor?

On a separate question, Im looking for these, however i do not know what they are called. they are the lips that go over the top section of the headlight, looks like an extension of the hood.

and does anybody have these for sale? shipped to 98058

Don't replace the sensor yet...take it out and clean the electrode with a fine piece of sand paper.
