For the oil leak, replace the o-ring and thermostat/o-ring for the oil filter housing. This can cause one hell of a leak amd its in that vicinity.

Ok, post head gasket update:
This car is a mess. At over 270k on the clock, there's a layer of grime over 1/2" thick in some places, and fat layer of soot on the valves. Basically the goal this weekend was to change the head gasket and check for any other sources of leaks, cleaning was a second priority; I just didn't have the time, chemicals, or nerve for that yet.
The internals turned out to be about as dirty, and it looks like there's damage on the pistons from the exhaust valves unless that's normal. Here's some pictures

Just sayin. There's no need to correct me. Everyone knows what I am talking about. When someone is referring to an ammunition magazine as a "clip" I'm not that guy that tells them its really called a magazine because I don't need too. We both understand what they mean.Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

It looks like the oil leak's gone, but I'll be sure after some of the residual oil from burns off. I'm pretty proud of the valve cover, painted that with some high heat engine enamel when I had a little bit of spare time, then just took a dremmal to the raised parts. I think it turned out pretty damn good. Unfortunately I didn't have enough paint to do the intake manifold too.
Next weekend I'll be replacing the CABs and maybe installing this shifter bushing kit I have lying around.
Big thanks to ryanwenz1 for the shitloads of help<-- F*** that guy
