    Car rumbles/vibrates help

Ok, we are short handed at work so I have been busy non stop till late next week. Normally I don't do this but I do not have time to do proper diag and this is my daily.
I just bought a 1986 eta w/ 240,000, it ran fine for the first few weeks but has developed this vibration throughout the whole car at around 40mph+. If I let off the gas or push the clutch in the vibration stops. From 0-40 the car runs normal. It doesn't matter what rpm I am at, I could be higher up in 2-3rd gear or in 5th.
This vibration feels like you are accelerating from too high of a gear. It rattles the shit out of the change in my ashtray and you can feel it in the pedals, wheel, seat, everywhere. The only time I notice a change is it seems worse going up a hill then down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks, Brent

That would make me think of a bad drive shaft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Suggestions are center support bearing or guibo.
