I have a four door 91 318I. The car was not locking from the driver side door, so I purchased a door lock repair kit from pelican parts and assembled all the new parts. They only really fit together one way so I don't think I assembled it wrong. Key works great.
Us sedan owners have a much more difficult time removing the lock cylinder than the two door guys. So I spent about two hours getting that stupid clip put back in place between today and yesterday.
Well the door will lock and unlock just fine, however the key won't turn all the way to the right to activate the double lock feature. What went wrong?
