Why does it seem that the more I try to fix this car the worse it runs? I changed out the coolant temp sensor after finding out it was bad, car starts running like crap. I unplug the sensor, Car runs like a champ! I'm so confused... Seems like I should just keep it how it is

Whenever you change out a sensor you should disconnect the negative cable from the battery for about ten minutes to clear out the previously stored values. I am not sure if this method works for all sensors, but it is a rule that I follow. -

I pulled the battery when I did it, I think I might have a clogged fuel injector. Pulling the plug on the 1 cylinder causes no noticble change, pull it on any other and it stumbles. Plug looks good and has a nice spark.I have friends who are EOD bro.
That's awesome. I have friends who make coffee for a living, but you don't see me rocking out a bunch of lattesComment

Update, I'm a idiot. When I changed the coolant temp sensor I also removed a plug for the fuel injector. Upon reinstalling the plugs I mixed the two up. Put the plugs back onto the correct spots and the cars running better than before now that I'm getting signal from the coolant sensor.I have friends who are EOD bro.
