is there a way to test the door switches?

I've narrowed my constant on dome lights down to either a bad door switch or the dome light control module. A new DCM is about 100 bucks. I'm not sure where to purchase the door switches, pelican doesn't seem to carry them.

I have a four door car. Is there any way I can test the individual switches?

Yes. Its just a spring loaded contact. When you close the door it pushes the contact open. When you open the door the spring pushes the contact closed. Mine are forever getting corroded/rusty and I have to remove them and clean off the contact points. Just remove the screw and pull the switch out slowly - the 2 wires attached to it are pretty short. The driver's door switch has 3 wires - the extra one is for the chime.
