    M42 w/ 1500-2500RPM stumble

Ok the M42 in my Vert' has developed a stumble-studder between 1500-2500 RPM. BUT ONLY onced warmed up. If the motor is cold its seems ok.
Is there some sort of "cold start injector" or something that isn't shutting of when warm??

Mark, we'll go through the car when you come up (whenever that is) and figure out what's going on. There has to be a reason for this.

I suggested perhaps the cat may be clogged - any takers?

i don't know all the details on it but i'll ask nick for more details this weekend. He gutted the cat before i got the car. He just said that he was driving one day and the engine got all choked up and then after a moment of no power (he didn't say if it was up top or in the lows or all...haha) and then bang...black smoke cloud...power again and no more cat. It blew out! Gutted cats sound like crap so i welded a pipe through it.

Vacum lines, check the one on the bottom of the air intake boot.

I had the same problem with my M42

The problem was a fairly small crack in one of the vacuum lines. I was told that the heat opens up crack making the problem more apparent.

                    G'luck fixing it.
