How can I be sure its an IS?

Just found this on ebay, and first of all Ive never seen the full blood red interior before, is this stock?
Secondly, what are some ways to tell if this is actually an IS? I see it has sport seats and the rear lip, front lip is missing and shouldnt it have a 3 spoke? or was that canned when airbags came along? What other visuals are there?

    thanks

Cardinal red sport interior is stock. mtech 1 wheel (3 spoke) was done away with when airbags came along in 1990 and 1991. An 'is' feature is the 13 button OBC which that car has. The 'is' also had a limited slip differential which you can tell by looking at the tag on it. The first digit/letter on the tag should be an S and there should also be an S stamped on it somewhere(maybe the top) but it was an option on the 'i' cars. I BELIEVE all of the 'is' cars had basketweave wheels which that car has but I think it was an option for the i's as well. The car you linked to is an 'is'

From the lack of pictures, I'd assume that the front seats are trashed.

Yeah it says the drivers seat is pretty bad, any chance that someone out there with a different color sport interior might Love Cardinal red?

Well considering it shows every sign of being an iS minus the front lip, you should feel pretty confident in assuming it really is

why dont u just run the vin and see? but I dont see why someone would fake it, especially on a completely stock car...
