Central Locking going off by itself.

I have a problem with my central locking system its going off by itself and won't stop unless I unhook the battery. Anyone know where I should start?

I don't think I understand what you mean by "central locking system its going off by itself and won't stop". But the first think I would do would be to check the operation and state of the various switches that control central locking.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Hey G, is it just locking and unlocking non stop?

There is a trouble shooting section in the etm on the central locking.
I have a spare clm if you need it to test.

Yeah when ever I hook the battery up it just keeps clicking (unlocking and locking) so there must be a short somewhere. I remember when I first bought the car it did it randomly but then for some reason when I shut the trunk it stopped. But now it does it all the time. So my guess there is a wire shorting in the trunk area.

A continuous cycle of locking and unlocking sounds like it could be a bad central locking module. A short in a switch circuit would cause the car to lock and remain locked. A short in the actuator circuits should blow the fuse.

My central locking did the same thing...just before it died.

I assume you don't have a keyless entry/alarm hooked up?
