i bought my car a couple months ago, it is a supercharged m42. it runs at about 43psi at idle and 100 at ~10lbs. it has a fmu but i dont know what spring is in it or honestly how it works. 3 weeks ago the fuel pump got really loud and i lost almost 10 psi at idle and it stayed at that through boost. it is a walbro 255 spec for a 04 cobra. so i ordered and installed another one and now 3 or 4 weeks later its screaming again but its still making adequate pressure. im affraid its going to take a crap again. so any ideas on what could be causing this. ive heard anything from a filter to a bigger fuse.

the walbro 255s are just loud , i had a fox body mustang with 347cid stroker and strait pipes and could still hear the fuel pump at idel.if your still getting good pressure why worry about it? and a side note i wouldnt try to make boost when u know your havent fuel delivery problems .just my 2cents.
