Compression test

I have an M20 B25 2.5 liter motor what is the average cylinder compression supposed to be?

Took me all of 30 seconds to find out. But somewhere between 142-156psi according to the Bentley

I was also wondering if its better to have the motor hot or cold while testing the compression, or does it really matter.

doesnt really matter it should not make a huge difference either way but i find it easier to wok on cold things
