Speed sensor boo boo

Hey guys.
I spent the afternoon today with some friends fixing the shitty rolled fender lips on my rear fenders, and then installed my mudflaps.

However in the process, I done goofed. I had the floor jack up on the diff, and as soon as I cleaned everything up and went out to dinner, I noticed my speedo wasn't working... :hitler:

Do you guys know what I might have screwed up?
It was dark as fark so I couldn't see shit, and i'll putting it back up in the air tomorrow after I hit the gym.

Unless the jack slipped I don't see how anything could have gone wrong.

didnt slip, although I think it might have gotten shook up when I accidentally dropped the car too fast.

Could there have been anything internal that I may have funked up?

Download flashlight app, use flashlight, look under rear of car at diff housing for dangling connector, rinse, lather, repeat.

The wires do get brittle with age and can break. Just going to have to crawl under and take a look.

Fixed it today! We spent 3 hours at the junk yard, met some cool people and heard some cool stories being told by some O.G car master techs that happened to be around grabbin' parts. Also stumbled upon a MINT MINT MINT Peugeot 505 Turbo so we grabbed the entire trunk with spoiler for my own 505, which is almost ready for paint.


Suuch a productive day.

I grabbed a 318i vert's speed sensor plug with a foot + of harness, crimped it on to my harness, BAM fixed it...

Awesome awesome day.
