Usually occurs around 55-65 mph. Feels like from the rear passenger. Brand new tires mounted and balanced. Happened just the same with old tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah 325 5spd.

Elaborate on the symptoms...on the gas or off? Gear dependent? Braking?BEERTECH

Pushing the gas, coasting, little less noticeable under braking. No popping or clunking. Feels like even the smoothest sections of the highway are "washboard". It has been coming and going at 80 mph as well, (more intermittent). It doesn't increase/decrease in turns. Just constantly there at 55-65, and then at 80 it vibrate, pause, vibrate, pause...and so on.

I'd say it sounds like a rear wheel bearing............
Jack up the rear and spin your wheel, it should turn smooth if its hard to spind or feels rough when spinning then its a wheel bearing.

Don't wheel bearings grind and groan and fuss a lot when they go bad. Also, wouldn't it get louder through a turn. I was thinking flex disk, cv/axle, or even a seizing caliper. Still checking...
