    Fuel line problem!

Greetings to all e30 fans and owners. My son has a problem. In his exuberance to get his girlfriends stereo installed, he drilled a hole for grounding a wire in what he thought was a structural bar of some kind. Turns out it goes to the fuel tank and houses a rubber hose having to do with the fuel system. What a gomer, I know but does anyone know if this is an easy or difficult fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where on the car is the drilled hole?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

On the metal tube that carries what I think is an overflow hose thru it. I think we may have figured this out hopefully, just have to find the right size replacement hose.

JP Weld it if it's on the non pressure side and steel or change the hose, good idea to use fuel injection hose
