At a loss trying to figure out why my car will start but will not run. Ii've done a lot to it myself but stumped now. I've been told to do a smoke test first. Any afficianados in the North suburbs interested in taking a look. Happy to pay.

Might be Fuel or crank sensor.
The crank position sensor might be the culprit if it is not sensing correctly. Check the spacing between the end of the sensor and the notched wheel. Also check the wires to it. The fuel pressure regulator could also be giving low pressure.
