    Clutch issues this morning

So I wake up this morning to go to work start my 89 325i push in the clutch go to put it in gear and I can't...

Clutch isn't releasing and the pedal sticks to the ground a bit. The clutch pedal felt a little light the past two days & I have had a few more drips under my car the past week but didn't think anything of it or even check what was leaking... My bad...

Any idea on what is not right? could it just be fluid? I never had any slipping or any grinding... Please help

This will be a problem with the clutch hydraulics or a problem with the clutch itself. If there no leaks at the slave cylinder or soft line, the master cylinder is bad. If I suspect a clutch hydraulics issue I always replace the master and slave cylinders. As they are generally of the same age and if one fails the other will fail soon.

I'd replace the clutch hydraulics first. If that doesn't fix it you'll need to replace the clutch.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
