Just curious, has anyone done some radiator swappage in the past? I'm entertaining the idea of an aftermarket e36 rad to keep my (*secret whisper project*) cool.

An E36 radiator is plug-n-play for a 325i/is/ic built from 9/87 on. It can be used on earlier cars, but more work & parts are needed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

E34 radiator does not fit though, much too wide.

M42 rads work. M50 are too wide as MR 325 previously stated

m50 radiators work fine, if they are from an e36
