Engine & Tranny Mounts (M42 car)

Anything you guys can recommend other than the urethane mounts (e.g. I.E mounts)?
I have read that urethane mounts transmit a lot of vibration and noise to the cockpit - and since my car is is a daily driver, I'd like a tamer option.

I ready that E28 M30 engine mounts are stronger and cheaper too :D
What exactly is required for fitting the 535i mounts? Lots of talk about it, but haven't read anything about anyone actually running one.
Any similar OEM or other upgrades for the tranny mount?

I could just go OEM, but it needs replacing, so just looking for the best options.

    Thanks

I've read an article about installing the E28 mounts, and the only fab I remember was that you have to shorten the mounting bolts. Sadly, the article that was once up about it is no more.

hmm, so does anyone here actually use the E28 mounts? Or is it more of a hearsay thing and not tested?

Maybe I'll get stock replacements for them.

I've seen a guy run the E28 mounts. The problem you are going to have with the OEM parts is that they are hydraulically filled and cost a bunch of bank. E28 mounts are the way to go.

I hate to do this, but the guy running them was on E30tech, but his site no longer has the article. Maybe you should start a post there. I hate that place, but I'm pretty sure the guy running the mounts isn't a member here.
