oh ya a chip will come along my way shortly. i ask because on my dads 88 suzuki samurai, theres a bolt that i took off due to poor freeway accleration. helped a little bit. then i looked at mine today and scratched my head.

and i mean the little dude under the pedal..

if you remove that bolt, you have a good chance of snapping the accel. cable.

The only top speed governors on a 84 318i are the brick like aerodynamics, and complete lack of HP.

The DME unit is also not chippable.
