    ECU

alright im not sure what to do but i was being stupid and also kinda forgot to bring my ECU indoors from my parts car and i did have a tarp on the car and an E30 door ontop of the ECU so it was protected somewhat from the outside elements but when i picked it up it seemed that water came from inside it and yet its dry inside and dont know what i should do i can not test it as the 325i engine is too stripped to start.

Should i waste my money wich i dont have much of and buy another ECU?

    What would you guys do?

I would pull the ECU apart and let it dry out really well. Everything should be fine once it is dried out. And since it was not in use and there was no power running through it, nothing should be fried. I would however check to make sure nothing is corroded.

everything looked to be fine when i pulled it apart and as of now its air drying even though it looks bone dry and i dont think water was in it long enough.

I asked this because as of now i dont have money to replace it and wont have the money for awhile unless someone pops up with one for like 40 shipped but again i dont want to waste money unless i am sure its toast.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It should be fine as long as you are letting it dry out.
