I've got a '91 318is, that came without the shock and holding hinge to hold the hood up. I have the shock, and just bought the hinge, but just realized I don't have the bracket in the engine bay to mount the hinge! I am assuming the bracket goes about where the arrow is in this pic.
Can anyone post a pic of their bracket? Anyone have a spare bracket? I need to either fab a bracket, or find one on a donor car, and don't know what Im looking for.
