    Cabrio soft top leak

Hope this isn't in the wrong section:

problem: installed a fairly new soft top with frame onto my cabrio. I basically lined up the roof with the shims and checked alignment of windows etc. I did a hose down test for leaks and found water comes in from around the center front seal. The seal is fairly new as well. Can anyone suggest what I might have missed while putting the roof on.

    any help would be appreciated.

    thx.

So.... I guess I'll be doing this sometime today or tomorrow. thanks for the link. I have seen it before but thought it was just for worn seals.

much appreciated and Happy Labor day weekend.

well after cleaning and applying the sealer; I have no luck. there is gaping on the drivers front between the window and the seal but the passenger side is tight. However, when I soak the roof water is getting in on the passenger side. I wonder if I ad a shim to the rear bottom will it pitch to roof forward to give me a better seal? or do I remove a shim so that the front takes more down force to close the latch?

What did you find out regarding shims?
Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!
