    Lights fickering

Interior lights also head light is flickering all the time. I replace car battery hoping it will fix problem. What should I check?

    EDIT
I did some reading and measure battery voltage while car is running. I got 14.2 so its not voltage regulator. If voltage is higher like 16 -17 than its voltage regulator problem.
    What else should I check?

If you have a Bosch alternator you can replace the voltage regulator. It just bolts into the back of the unit and is inexpensive.

Mine was very badly worn and made the car slow to turn over, despite a fresh battery. My interior lights still dim with the turn signals though, so it probably won't fix your problem. Worth a shot, though. Easy enough do in a parking lot with just a screw driver and a 10 mm (?) wrench to disconnect the battery ground.

You can pull it out and look at it. One of the brushes was completely worn down on mine and didnt look to be making contact any longer. What brand alternator do you have? Some came with Valeos that are not serviceable.

So I took out air filter box to see if there is voltage regulator. I see there is black plate with four screw. Is voltage regulator inside? I could not find any label if alternator is made by Bosch.

After doing some search. I did following things.
                  1) When car is not running battery puts out ~12.4V. Motor is running voltage at battery is 14.2V so it can't be bad voltage regulator.
                  2) When motor was running I pulled out negative cable out to see if motor stop running. But motor was running so it can not be alternator.

What else should I check? Also there is NO battery light on dash but got code 1231 which is for charging system.

How long did you monitor the voltage? Your regulator is about to go. I would trust the error code more than your measurement. It is an inexpensive fix so go for it.
