    Help identifying wires 318is

I'm in the process of repairing/removing wires from the engine bay wiring harness. I've had the front of the car apart for so long however that I don't remember where some went.

Pretty much the only wires I plan on keeping are the ones for the lights, however I'd just like to know what they go to before I remove them for good.

    1. These have a separate casing and lead all the way to under the dashboard, where they go into a connector than continue up into the dash

    2. These 2 have a small casing keeping the separate from the rest of the harness, located on the passengers side of the engine bay

    3. Passengers side of the bay

    4. Passengers side of the bay

    5. Passengers side of the bay

    6. Passengers side of the bay, fog light I believe?

    7. Passengers side of the bay, one elbow plug has fallen off with time

    8. Passengers side of the bay, these 3 are bundled together for about 10". One elbow has fallen off over time

    9. Drivers side of the engine bay, Fog Light?

    10. Drivers side of the engine bay

Thanks for any help or insights

All of those look like front light connectors to me.. (headlights, fogs, and possibly city lights)
The smaller/single connectors fit inside plastic connector housings like the others you have pictured.

That three-prong connector reminds me of the connector that plugs into the radiator (temp sensor?)

I know there is one 3 hole connector on the driver side that is disconnected on mine...maybe something for the 6 cylinders? I believe another 3 hole connector IS connected to something, but all my lights work and one wasnt connected to anything.

I have a headlight, high beam and turn signal plug for each side, I know at least 1 of the plugs is for the fog lights, and there's no other lights up front so it can't be lights. I know there was a bunch for the AC, possibly some for the radiator.

Anybody have a 318 parts car they could go check for me? Hell, even a driving car if it's not too big a pain to take everything apart.

              3rd pic...

One is for your radiator the other is for the AC compressor.
