I recently bought my car, 1987 325e. I just replaced my ICV. It didn't have a number 9 fuse which is the one that goes to the ICV. So I put the required 15A fuse into the slot. I cranked it up and it idled correctly and everything. Then about 30 seconds later the 15A fuse popped and caused the rpm to jump up to 3,000. What could be causing this power surge and how can I fix it.
