the z3 rack has less travel lock to lock though, its a 96+ e36 rack with .5 turns worth of less travel side to side aka larger turning radius. This has all been covered to death in other threads why did we bump a 3 year old thread

I bought the M3 rack and then when I found out it was the 98 M3 rack and not the 95 M3 rack I was a bit upset, so I called them and said i wanted to send it back for a refund and they said they couldnt give a refund so I told them I would call them back. I called them back after looking around for prices of M3 racks and coudlnt really afford an 700 dollar steering rack so I called them back and said I would take a Z3 rack and he said no probem we will ship it out ASAP and then refund the price for the M3 rack.
They were the same price. Thats what MR BMA said. Untill now when I look at my credit card statement they charged me 537 for the M3 rack and 506 for the Z3 rack. Plus Im sending back my rack for a core fee and might get back 150 for it to bring the total price for both into the 300 and something dollar range.Randall Racing and Engineering

I am sure they'll refund you, they aren't a fly by night place and many have ordered 1000s worth of parts from them.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
