Having an issue the last wk, starting the car. I turn the key and nothing,

It usually takes about 5 turn-overs to get it started. I don't hear the starter click over on my attempts.

Any ideas? Ignition switch?

There are several possibilities here. First check the main power connections at the battery, at the starter, and the engine to chassis ground strap. Then connect a test light from the starter solenoid lead to ground. It light comes on when the key is turned to start, but the starter doesn't turn the starter is bad. If the light doesn't turn on trace back to the ignition switch to find out why.
