If the engine has spark when cranking and the fuel pump runs when cranking, a large intake leak, mis-timed cam, or mis-wired plugs become the suspects. Will the engine fire with a squirt of starting fluid?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Fuel pump is working, we are getting a spark. All gaskets are new. Pretty much everything in the engine compartment is. . Now one thought came from a buddy about the small wire coming from the positive side of the battery in the back to the engine bay. We did a light test to it and got no power.... But my bros small wire will...
did you check all your fuses? I know that sounds simple but do check them. Also check the fusible link in the trunk about a foot up from the positive lead of the battery on the positive wire. you may have to cut back the heat shrink. it's about 1 inch long 1/2 inch wide and a flat metal piece. Test it for power after the link towards the cabin. If your test light comes on it's good. if not it might be blown and will need replacing. it happened to my car and I couldn't start it.
