What is this light, car loses power.

    What is this light, car loses power.



    I will be driving then all of a sudden my 325i starts to lose power.

    This arrows indicator lights up green, and I kick the gas pedal a few times

    and it goes away and power returns but this problem keeps recurring.

    Any ideas what this light is for? I cant find it in any manuals...

      Does that light come on when the ignition is switched on? Does the CEL light up when the ignition is switched on. If the first answer is yes and the second is no I'd suspect the CEL bulb is in the wrong place.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          Thanks! You were right, did the stomp test and it blinked 1444, guess the PO had the cluster off and wired it wrong. What is that arrow light for anyways? fog lights? I think my fuel pump is starting to go, noticed this happens when I hit a sharp bump. Power comes back after pumping the pedal, going to check the tps, maf, and crank position sensor as well later this week.
