Anyone in the Indy area that will be willing to do a timing belt/water pump change on an 88 325 for not too much money?

    Thanks

Is where I'd go if there was something I wanted done for me or couldn't do myself. Prices were always very reasonable.

Vaughn Motorwerks is also familiar with E30s.
And btw, if you ever need frame work, suspension, or wheels (including fixing bends) - Northwest Frame.

Euromotorwerks is a super high-priced Porsche-focused shop, although they do BMWs too.

        Krivbas,

If at all possible, I'd highly reccomend that you do the work yourself. If you go to the Pelican Parts website (http://www.pelicanparts.com) then click on 'BMW' you will see a series of tech articles in the lower left hand corner. One of these details extensively the procedure for doing this repair.

Just take your time with it the first time doing it, and make sure you crank the engine over SEVERAL times by hand to make sure you've got the timing right. These cars are easy to work on, and it will save you a small fortune if you learn to do the work yourself, rather than paying others to do it for you. I water pump is probably $55-is, and the timing belt kit about $35, IIRC.

        Good luck!!
