If at all possible, I'd highly reccomend that you do the work yourself. If you go to the Pelican Parts website (http://www.pelicanparts.com) then click on 'BMW' you will see a series of tech articles in the lower left hand corner. One of these details extensively the procedure for doing this repair.
Just take your time with it the first time doing it, and make sure you crank the engine over SEVERAL times by hand to make sure you've got the timing right. These cars are easy to work on, and it will save you a small fortune if you learn to do the work yourself, rather than paying others to do it for you. I water pump is probably $55-is, and the timing belt kit about $35, IIRC.
