    Driveshaft Vibration Dampener Removal

So I just installed my UUC EVO3 and DSSR and that shit grinds when it's in neutral, 2nd and 4th. It's running into the vibration dampener on the driveshaft. (Rob your really need to make a new revision of the install manual in include removal of this) I remember looking at the this part in detail and wondering if it was removable when I installed it but the driveshaft bolts are just round. I did some searching and saw a post saying you can just hammer them out, remove dampener and reinstall driveshaft. Are the driveshaft bolts splined or something? Anyone confirm they are just hammered out and reinstalled?

There is one transmission output flange type that has pressed in studs. But they need not be removed to eliminate the harmonic balancer.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

just pull the driveshaft with the guibo attached off the transmission flange, and then you can just slide off the harmonic balancer. No issues with getting rid of it.
