Need help finding an Oil pressure Switch

I have a 1988 325 IS with the m20 motor in it. My oil pressure switch is leaking, it is located on the passenger side in the block about an inch above the oil pan. I pulled it out and got a new one, but it has different threads. The one I pulled out has 10mm course threads and the new on has 12mm fine threads. I can not find the right part anywhere on line. Does anyone have an idea where I can find it?

      That is the wrong part

They do not have it, nor does most any of the places that I googled. Also, not even the BMW dealer had any idea why mine was a different size. It is not just a simple thing, or I would have it done already.

        What about an adapter?

Is it a straight thread or BSPP?

I work at a napa store. if you know the thread and what psi it needs to be any napa should be able to get you one. however it is possible you would have to change the connector but you never know
