I know that the door gong chimes once when it gets below 38 degrees, and it WAS below freezing, does the car alert you once more when it gets below freezing? Like I said, this didn't sound like the door gong, it was 3 beeps. I'm thinking it might have been her CD player, it has been acting a little funky lately.

I WOULD HIRE A LOCAL CRACK HEAD TO SLEEP IN THE CAR FOR A WEEK, AND FIGURE OUT WHERE THE NOISE IS COMING FROM, AND WHAT TRIGGERS IT.
JUST BE SURE TO PROVIDE HIM WITH A CANISTER, SO HE DOESNT PEE ON YOUR CARPET

BUT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING... I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST TAKING THE CAR APART, AND REMOVING ALL THE WIRES YOU CAN PUT YOUR HANDS ON. THEN REPLACE THEM 1 By 1 AND SEE IF THEY NOISE COMES BACK.
