    Looking for a softer SSK...

Does anyone know if there is a SSK out there that has a softer shift than the Ireland Engineering SSK for E30s?

I'm doubting you will find one "softer" than the IE one. I would try and find an X5 3.0 lever if you want "soft."

What do you mean by softer? smoother, less abrupt??

I have a Z3 lever and new bushings and love it. I also have a E36 trans in my E30...

            UUC kit with the ERK.

Butter smooth and really nicely made.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

                  He wants a softer shift.

None of these parts bin specials will fulfill that.

I love my Z3 1.9. The perfect balance of short throw and easy shifts.
